Antique hand-carved Davenport style desk from the late 1800s. Made in Myanmar, formally Burma, and originally showcased and purchased at the Chicago World’s Fair’s Colombia Exhibition in 1893.
Desk features lifted desktop with inner drawers and 4 campaign style drawers on each side that are hidden by carved doors. Intricate hand carvings on every visible surface including the back. Comes apart in 3 pieces that can be screwed together to secure. Photographed unsecured.
