Pair of 1940s era Grosfeld House French wingback chairs in the original two-tone fabric. Back is a cream colored velvet and front is a lovely coral/salmon pink with metallic floral and leaf details and quilted background. Original tack work throughout. Carved mahogany wood frame with feathering and gilt details. Has been deep cleaned.
DIMENSIONS: each chair is 28” w x 29” d x 41” h; 20” seat height
CONDITION: Chairs are sold as is though they still have a ton of life. Two tears to the fabric visible in photos- one on the upper right back of one chair and other on the bottom right seat of the other. One area of minor wood loss on the latter chair. Seats have original springs and are a bit lumpy but comfortable to sit in. See photos.
